Since the rise of developing mixed-use communities, Megaworld Corporation, one of the most reputable developers in the Philippines has long been practicing their concept of “live-work-play-learn” projects to attain high quality of living in an integrated community. They targeted 561 hectares of lands at south of Manila to build a central business district which is also composed of residential village, commercial and retail stores, mall, church, school, medical facility, leisure parks and transport terminals. With such big project, owner had to choose a reliable supplier for their emergency power system to Southwoods Mall and Office Tower: FMIDC chose PRAMAC generator set to meet their demand for higher capacity suitable for various applications. On 2016, Megaworld’s Global Estate Resorts, Inc. awarded the project to FMIDC. The scope of this project was the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3 units of synchronized 3MW generator set, 2 units of 2MW and 1 unit of 1 megawatt generator set. This is the first and biggest project of FMIDC in partnership with PRAMAC.
